We are members of The Society for Conservation GIS (SCGIS). SCGIS is a non-profit organization that builds community, provides knowledge, and supports individuals using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and science for the conservation of natural resources and cultural heritage. Drew Stephens is a former SCGIS Board Member, and enthusiastic supporter of this critically important organization
The mission of the SCGIS is to build community, provide knowledge, and support individuals using GIS and science for the conservation of natural resources and cultural heritage. SCGIS assists conservationists worldwide in using GIS through communication, networking, scholarships, and training. Membership is open to any individual seeking assistance in the achievement of personal or organizational conservation goals.
We support SCGIS community by maintaining a connection and communicating with members and partners. The relationships built here are a primary means for us to identify the organizations we serve.
